I have this Paterson washer but FB paper have a tendency to float up above the surface. My solution was a piece of foam from the box when I bought my headphones, it keeps the paper under the surface for the most time, not 100% but better then not. I think the handles in metal are made to make double duty, both as a handle and to keep the paper down but floating paper have a lot of upgoing energy so it lifts them as you can see.
